Title: hood compatibility?

hi, ive a 86 golf gti cab, ive been offered a mint hood but its from a 82 plate cab i think they changed only the rubbers on the 84plates onwards but does anyone know if the hood would be compatible? cheers

yes it'll work, there are some differences with the roof guttering and window rubbers n things between yearts but parts are all interchangable.
