Title: Could it be possibly be true??
Post by: R32UK on 14 April 2008, 19:52
I was reading an article on the new Passat CC (whatever the hell thats supposed to be)... as I approached the bottom of the article it mentioned the engines available. These are 2.0 diesel, 1.8 turbo, and 3.6 V6!

Now correct me if i am wrong, but I dont remember there being another 3.6 in the VW range. Could this possibly be the basis for a all new mkVI R36???

the passat is already out in europe as an r36 with a 3.6 v6.  I think the curren r32 will be the last to be honest.  The way tax and fuel are going there will be a much smaller market in a couple of years time.  It will more than likely go in the s3 direction of 2.0 turbo and 4wd imo

I hope not!!! Killing off the V6 would leave no N/A engines in the range... I big mistake in my book :embarassed:
