Drive a r32 dsg and manage 28 mpg (mostly motorway driving) cover just over 30k miles a year …so my fuel cost this year will be …..£6,000 !!!!
If a drove a 2.0 tdi probably save £3000 a year same if I had a LPG conversion done – anyone seen one done on a mk5 r32 or should I just shut up and put up ??

Im assuming your miles are majorly work related, surely you must be able claim back if so?
If not well i doubt theres a kit for the R32, weight up the costs.. A good kit is anywhere between 1 and 3 grand to buy and fit as far as i know so how long will you be keeping the car to make the money back?

I agree with the above, plus you will lose All your room in the boot - and the R32 boot is already smaller thean other golfs, plus your car will be heavier
With those costs I'd seriously consider a diesel - sh!t, did I just recommend a diesel, I must be slipping
