Might need a new thermostat. When the car is warm how hot are each of the pipes coming form the rad, maybe the thermostat is stuck and needs replacing. or the radiator could be blocked.
Its either that or a temp sensor i would think.
-
they not to hot as you cant hold them not the rad ether i replaced it as i got the car with a front how do i check the reading on the dash is a true reading also what temp should it run at
-
Depends, when im runnin at 70mph it sits way down, and through town at 30 stopping and starting it can get to almost mid way on the gauge. If it gets to warm the rad soon takes it down.
Im thinking thermostat
-
just been playing with it and it seems the fan is only working on 1 speed and thats on slow also in about half an our im having a code reader 4 10 mins were dose it plug in

Try asking on www.VR6oc.com they are a wealth of info.
-
the temperature should sit bang on centre all the time if not you have problems.
mine was just a faulty sensor giving off worrying temperatures when all along it was fine. replaced sensor running bang on centre line doesnt even go over when in traffic and thats how it should be

could be a simple air lock once air gets in its really hard to bleed it out. (really hard) trust me.
