Title: Hello from new to site MK1 GTI owner (cant believe it)

Hi All,

Just purchased my first VW ever, saw an advert for an 83 1owner from new black 1.8gti, not the best condition and will need a re-spray but still on the road showing 90k.

got the tuning / wheel / suspension / mod bug already so will no doubt need your help!

Cant believe it, was supposed to pickup tomorrow, just rang me and said withdrawing for sale!

Now on the hunt for another, dont mind slight cosmetics, un finished project with nice motor would be nice, turbo'd maybe?

Any help locating guy's would be much appreciated! especially whilst i've got the bug :evil:
