Title: Twin exhaust

My bruver recently bot a twin exhaust for a golf mk2 16v gti 8). i have a mk2 1.6 driver and we have found out that the brackets r no the same to hold it on  :-/. does neone have ne ideas how to go about fitting it

Best thing I suppose, is to go to your nearest specialist exhaust supplier, get them to check in there books and see if there is a twin pipe that will fit your car, must admit i've never seen one on a 1600 driver before, normaly just a single pipe, I could be wrong.
If there is one listed there is more than likely a bracket that fits around the box itself, like a strap so you can move it to which ever position suits,
your supplier may be able to get hold of the bracket on its own, Worth a try. ;)

where the exhaust is the now you can cut away a bit which will allow a twin exhaust. i think puttin a whole bracket around the back box will be the best answer. Will take a bit of time to do  :-/  but will keep everyone posted on how it goes :D Should make a wicked noise!
