Title: MK1 1.8 16v engine conversion (help please)

Please help iam currently swapping the engine from a 1.1MK1 golf to a 1.8 16v and have finnished the mechancal side of it but iam really struggiling to set up the electrical wireing and the distibuter cap is touching the cervo/master cilinder will i need to change this to a different distributer or how to work round also looking to take the injectors out. this wee car will be a rocket and would be showing it off @ sum events if i can just get this fixed thanx

hello and welcome firstly.

- use the distributor cap of a 205 gti 1.9 (outlets point forwards)!
- to remove the injectors you have to just pull them out! :shocked: no tools necessary.
- as for the wiring type a search into google!
