Title: JBS auto designs tfsi tuning.
Post by: block on 11 April 2008, 15:35
Just got my copy of performance vw and theres an article on jbs and the power gains they are getting from the vag 2.0 turbo, the example in the mag is a seat with the 200 bhp engine like the standard gti. Here are the figures they are  getting, (the parts fitted are on the left and the max power is on the bottom right).

Surely we'll be hearing more from these as there very good gains from the kit fitted.

on the UKMKIVs forum they have had a sponsered post from CustomCode since last month

unbeatable value if you ask me for £740 you can get a stage2 custom map and the uprated fuel pump fitted giving 308bhp on the 200bhp 2.0TFSi

check the link

300bhp would be nice but seriously this sounds too high on the K03 engine.

.. goes off to read the thread ..

sounds good but I wont get too excited just yet, I am very tempted to try it.  Wonder what the term running issues of the FP are .. ??

Does seem high for K03S, but we'll see.

We will indeed

I know a VRs managed about 280 odd which is more what I would expect, unless those discharge pipes are doing more than we think .. not sure the IC was needed or if it was surely the S3 would have been cheaper and better ....

So what do you think, noticable on the road?

You dont really need the pump but if the gains are anything like what they are saying for the K03 then the K04 might well be worth it... time will tell.
