right, everyone has to put what they would like their next car to be. it cant be stupid like a veyron though. it has to be a car that you would seriously have and could afford as a next car.
mine WILL be either an ed30 or S3, not for at least a year and a half though. :smiley:

Funnily enough I can't actually think of a car I'd rather have as a replacement at the moment. :cool:

Only just picked up my GTI which I'll have for at least 3 years or more. Next car? Probably a MkVI GTI if it's any good.

RS4 is going to be my next serious toy with a Fiat 500 Abarth Essess for zipping around in.

I reckon (if i can afford it) a RS4 or S5. AUDI is the brand i would like to try next,quality products! Although i am missing my E46 M3 soooooo much,so if i could find a low mileage with still some warranty i might be tempted back!! :evil:

I'd love a Mustang! Been looking at them on pistonheads and you get alot of motor for your money, would love the drop top GT500. Just imagine the sound :drool: Realistically though.. an S3. :smiley:

i was thinking of an S3 but the new Scirocco has changed my mind, can wait to have a look at it when its in the stealers! they just look soooo much better than the golf :cool:

Well I've had my GTI for just a few weeks now and I just want to swap it for something that can go round corners quickly. Even the cheap runabout Citroen Xsara VTS I had whilst I decided what to replace the Audi with handled better and was less skittish.
I've done 500 miles since yesterday morning and have been left wishing the thing wasn't on my driveway.
Think I'll call into the Mitsubishi dealership tomorrow to see what the deal is on the Evo Hatchback they're bringing out is.

Evo's are the sh!t! mate had an older one and it was unreal :cool: just gets the power down so well, makes front wheel drives look pants

Mines due to be picked up on Friday, its the Mitsubishi FQ (F...ing Quick) 360 MR, the test drive certainly lived up to its name! :evil:

Im extremely happy with my ED30, I am gonna have to spend 40-50 grand plus to get a motor that is on par with it! Seeing as I dont have 40 grand im gonna stick with the ED for a while and get the replacement, ED 35, only another 5 years to wait!!

Keeping the GTI, unless I come into some monet and go back to a Porker. Still hanker for another Boxster S or a late model air cooled 993. Wallet is OK but head v heart is another matter :huh:

you must be the only person ive heard criticise the gti, for a moment i thought you were coming from something exotic but a citreon xsara ffs,
have you thought about getting it looked at, maybe something wrong with it?

This is a grown up car and not an out and out boy racer. I remember (showing my age here) buying a brand new Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 in 1986 ( :shocked:) and although it was a go cart, I couldn't stand the bone hard ride and utter crap build quality - I got rid for man Audi Coupe quattro - lovely understated driving experience after that :wink:

....Either back to a 2-door BMW or a 'previously owned' Porsche, but I doubt I'll change my GTI for many years - It does everything I need it to do and very well. :smiley:

Tornado Red GTI or ED30 if I could still get hold of one. Wife keeps the BMP DSG as her daily driver and I get a remap..... :laugh:

Got the updated map yesterday, not really had chance to test it :evil:, feels strong in the midrange though, wasn't exaclty lacking before though

Hopefully new M3 with 7 speed dsg or something from Audi like RS4 with dsg if they decide to fit it.
Also,poss a porker Cayenne turbo or new gts for long trips away with family,(mk2 Cayenne now selling at excellent low prices sec hand!!!)

Maybe's for me... Mk6 Golf could temp me if they keep it as good as the Mk5, wouldnt say no to the S3 or something slightly bigger like the S5 :cool:

ok guys ive been recovering cars now for 2.5 months and most of them are less than 5yrs old :shocked:
quite afew of them have been audis :shocked:
although only 1 was a cam belt
mostly the newer cars seem to be electrical/electronic probs
however, i recovererd a guy the other day with a bentley continental gt [paid 90,000]
who rents out prestige cars and we got talking
he told me he's driven most of the ferrari range, bentleys, astons but the two cars he raved about were the r8 and the rs4 [hes got 3 rs4 on the fleet and loves them]
so i'd say go for the rs4
me i want a hard top mk1 golf gti for my additional car :grin: :grin: :grin:

Looking at the prices of 2nd hand RS4's I think that could be a good choice :cool: Maybe even the Avant version!
