Title: Tick-tick sound behind dash.

Hi Friends

Recently bought 1989 Mk1 GTi Cabrio and am trying to sort out a few issues.  Can anyone help, please?

1/ Ticking sound somewhere behind glovebox (I think) which gets faster with increased speed.  Speedo cable, maybe?

2/ Fitting VDO gauges requires oil pressure T-piece.  Anyone have specific details e.g. thread size, supplier part number etc.?  Where does temperature guage pick up signal?

if you go to forum home page, click on the garage, then 9th one down and click on it, vdo gauges, everythings explained in there, very usefull.
