Post by: adw555 on 10 April 2008, 09:52
drove reasonably hard round a roundabout in second...could hear a very slight whine...don't hear it when going straight though...it's quite faint...anyone else noticed this ?..think it's done it from new...

sounds like a wheel bearing to me, take it back to the dealer and take a technician for a road test to demo the fault.

yea, not all the time....usually notice it on roundabouts when accelerating round them in first or second....def sounds like a gearbox'ish/diff whine....

isn't it funny you start hearing these noises more when the car has just gone out of warranty
