Hi all,
Just bought a '97 Twilight Violet Mk3 Gti (for the wife) and thought I would join the forum. I've been into dubs for a while now and also own a Corrado VR6 Storm.
I'll try and get some pics of the Gti posted soon.

The Golf is an 8v.
I've got a couple of small jobs to do on it so it's sitting in my garage at the moment. As soon as it's sorted I'll take a few pics.
In the meantime here are some of the Rado.

Awesome looking storm mate. Very nice indeed. This example shows why the rado's often been called the best looking VW.
Green with envy.!!!!

I have considered lowering it but with all the speed humps around here I've kept the 4x4 look
As you probably know, most Storm owners like to keep them standard and are a bit reluctant to mod them as they were a limited edition.

Thanks for the compliment, it's my pride and joy

Got the water leak sorted today, Replaced the flange on the front of the cylinder head.
Looks like a new header tank is needed as the low water warning light isn't cominng on when the header is empty but comes on when the connector plug is disconnected.
Taking the car for 4 wheel alignment tomorrow as it's pulling left a little.
Here are a few pics.

Had the 4 wheel alignment done today, the front camber and toe were out quite a bit on both the front wheels which has now been sorted.
The rear offside is toeing in a bit too much, probably due to the rear beam bushes needing to be changed , so that's gonna be the next job.
it's definately steering a lot straighter now though
It seems it not just the corrado that's gonna be emptying my wallet
