Allo, can anybody tell me the rough cost of a 1.8 16v from a Gti?

I'm thinking about replaing my trusty 8v lump with a grufty 16v jobbie.

Keep a eye on the parts for sale board, there has been a couple of bargains recently.

sometimes as low as ?50 for the engine. I'd advise upgrading the mk1's brakes before you do a swap though! mk2 16v ones would be good. G60 ones better.

just sold a 16v lump and box etc for ?100!! bargin!! shame you missed it, surely there some more ou thtere????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
