My MK3 Immobiliser keyfob battery has gone weak ... I had it replaced around 3-4 months ago and its already run out again. Went to VW today they said they dont do em any more ...
So what the hell am I supposed to do now? haha
Anyway, I managed to take a pic of it ... any one know the size of the battery? And what its called. It says 6B on the plastic holding all the batteries together but I done a google search and cant find anything, I think its defo called something else. Im hoping some one knows the size.
Thanks in advance ... and pic attached below!

I want to know this too, i was suggested to go to a camera shop, as they might sell them :/

Try an internet search for battery shops. We have one in Swindon that will match any battery or make it for you!
I suspect that they wont be the only one of that type in the Country!

Maplins don't do em.
But I found the battery ... their 4/393 size.
Bought one off ebay for £5 so I ordered two instead as I would of paid £10 any way ... keep one as spare.
