Cheers JV

A before picture i think is required.

This is the Golf after driving it home on sunday, in the snow...

Already stripped the front end down to replace the passenger side wing due to dents, and to respray the front lower panel.
After that its a case of sorting the rear valance rot and respraying the rear panel, change the doors, fix the central locking in the boot and some other stuff i cant think of right now.

Oh yeah, sort the exhaust blow and refit/reposition/make custom brackets, to stop it banging on the rear beam and so i can get into my drive without scrapping it.

a lot to be getting on with, without remembering all the other stuff.

Might try and get Nick to participate in a supervisory roll when i'm changing the heater matrix...fun fun

Got the golf in the garage today, chucked my dads car out the way.

Anyway here it is in its new home

Wing is off, to be swapped due to dents and i've sorted the door that had dropped.

Todays Update:

Sorted the central locking hook, where the rod kept coming out of the actuator, threaded the rod and whacked a nut on job done.

New wing is fitted and lined up.

Rear wiper and washer sorted, now working.

Took the seat apart to replace wire for tilting it forward.

Rear window demister rewired up.

All in all a good day.
