Title: Hi All - I have seen the light.....

Yes i have got myself a mk4 150 gti! Picked her up on saturday, i have taken a break from driving about and i thought i would post some pics of my new toy! Before her i had a gen6 toyota celica, very good fun but not as practical as a golf and not as well made. Anyways heres some snaps...

I payed just over 4k for her, shes run 66k miles as you can see its got uprated brakes and i think rs4 alloys apart from that shes standard... for the moment... :cool:

I have been looking over the forum over the last week and you all sound like a great bunch, let the moddin begin!  :grin:

Nice Car, I had the exact colour/reg as that one a few years ago! Lot's of potential there  :grin:

Thanks for the warm welcome peeps, i have been looking at a few mods already. Gonna do the usual air filter and bits, one thing i have noticed is that alot of people have said using a performance air filter will increase the dump valve sound. I have got the standard valve on there if i was to change my air filter would i get the lovely psssst noise? or would i have to get a forge or something like that before i can enjoy as pssst everytime i chnage gear! :laugh:
