Post by: k4ith on 05 April 2008, 16:47: Wife had the car at the garden centra and some low life peice of s**t drove along the side of my car.Then drove of.
CCTV didn't catch it and nobody seen even though it near the main door.I am gonna kill them if i catch them!!
will cost so no choice but to go through insurance co, both doors damaged.Gutted :sick:

I take my other half to the supermarkets but I wait in my car because I know this sh!t happens when you're not around. The shocking thing is I have seen this happen so much to other peoples cars whilst waiting in my car. I have been witness to several of these incidents now it's shocking. They know they've done it because they always speed off and find another bay.

I swear these people need their f*cking hands chopping off so they can NEVER drive again!! :angry: :angry:

Really do feel for you mate, that is just AWFUL and I hope you get it sorted soon :cry:

Mate, ic you are in Central Scotland?, I have a number of a guy who fixes these dents expertly in Glasgow,...if the paint is not broken through...He fixed 2 bad dings in my Audi A6 and it only cost Ã‚£80....

Its worth meeting him and seeing if he can fix it...pm me if you want his number, he is in Glasgow and can meet at the weekends, he does the fix whilst you wait...

rear passenger door has slight warp in it but the drivers has 3 ridges with slight puncture hole.dont know how they managed it, would have thought they would have realised when they hit the 1st door.
When i get time i am going to take it to the body shop and see what the insurance co say, think my excess is Ã‚£250.

Ex girlfriend crashed my brand new C2 into a Jag a few years back. Luckily for me (and my insurance) she did a runner, but it was nearly 2 years before I could afford a new bumper to get it fixed :(

Same thing happened to my old TT - parked up at Frankly services on M6 came back out and some tw@t who obviously had no clue on how to park there piece of sh!t had dented my arch and scraped down the side - they had drove off too, I was so annoyed and it ruined my weekend away! Girlfriend was like just forget - I just said ok I will but means no-more weekends away as I'm gonna have to pay for this and not the tosser that did it - she then joined in with the name calling :smiley:

Now I park my car at the bottom end of car parks or near cameras away from the main busy parks - unfortunatly I can't get out of the Tescos shop by saying I need to keep guard in the car :grin:

Bob - sorry but sounds like you well rid of her, good job she is your ex else suspect you would have been flamed with admitting that! I would like to hope that if I ever did it someone I would leave contact details and then go and get some driving lessons :grin:

Always park mine miles away from anyone else but a few weeks ago I'd parked outside my business premises and when I went to lunch saw a 6 inch gash along the passenger door rub strip .It was a very windy day so some idiot must have let go of a door into mine - absolutely gutted. After I'd calmed down I thought It could have been worse,just a minor paint of the rubber strip. Only when the sun caught the door at a different angle did I see the 3 dings in the door!!!
This made me sick to my stomach.I've had my car from new and have really looked after it for nearly 3 years ,only for some thoughtless moron to do this !
Dentmaster had a go - not much improvement . It looks like an insurance job !! My excess is Ã‚£500!!
Think i'll wait till renewal and get a lower excess.Just have to drive around with a less than perfect car for a month or so. To top it all I have managed to scrape 2 different alloys in a week ! (own fault what a tw*t)
