....I got mine from Awesome too - A Neuspeed. I got my VW dealer to fit it during a service session .

The difference is subtle but it seems to have stopped 'hopping' out of roundabouts and it reduces any stresses on my Milltek exhaust mountings. It was JKM (my tuner) who noticed a broken exhaust mount while fitting my Forge DV and Neuspeed Turbo Discharge and Charge piping (with SAMCO silicon hoses) and recommended it as helpful on any remapped car.

Full engine mounts also help but is a bit hardcore unless you do lots of track days - I prefer mods which I wouldn't have to take off at sale time, and engine mounts do make the ride harsher.

For sub £30 they are well worth it.

Just remember to make sure your existingmount is clean in side a lubed with a bit of silicone (dash shine or similar) before you try to push it in.  The torque arm bolt is pretty tight too.

I didn't mention a torque wrench, but to do it up correctly you should use one.

If you can get under the car and get leverage I'm told it is a ten minute job

....It's ALWAYS a good practice to use a torque wrench so that you tighten something to the recommended tension - It protects you from being not too tight and not too loose for the application.

Steve

Look under the front of the car to the rear of the engine and you'll see the Aluminium bush holders they are curved and fit perfectly into axle stands.

If you put them where you jack up on the sill you'll probably do some damage.

This is a Fabia but you'll get the idea - http://www.fabia-vrs.com/images/images/eibach/eibach43.jpg

well after a drive, i think it feels alittle "tighter" i can feel a few more engine vibrations but not bad at all, just gives me feeling of being more to one with the car. also with a quick gear change from 1st to 2nd i got a little wheel squeel instead of the usual hops.. so worth it :)
