Another interested party, I was tempted to try it but would like to see it fitted and how noticable it is

Had it on my previous GTi.

It's a clear tough plastic film.

Very difficult to apply without bubbles - I've seen some terrible efforts by dealers...

I got Tinter (http://www.tinter.co.uk) who did my tints to fit mine - top job  :wink:

I've got a carbon effect one http://www.roofbox.co.uk/kamei-body-protection.html (http://www.roofbox.co.uk/kamei-body-protection.html) from http://www.roofbox.co.uk (http://www.roofbox.co.uk) on my current car.
