Title: Mk2 16v exhaust clamp.

Does anyone know the size of the exhaust clamp that fits the middle section to downpipe on a 16v mk2?

I fitted a 58mm but it was a bit tight, so maybe 60mm would have been better? 

By the way, they are mega cheap at halfords.

Well on GSF the biggest one for a mk2 Golf they have is 59-5 - so I'm guessing that would be the one.

Cheers for that, I've emailed GSF and they mentioned a 52/54 mm clamp, which I was going to order till I saw this and also on their website they mention "SHORT PIPE 54.5mm" for the 8v GTi and other lower models, so I'm guessing what they told me was incorrect (no suprise there!).

Got a 58mm from a local place as it was all they had in that size and only 19p -possibly could have done with one a fraction bigger, but it done the job.
