Hi guys,

wondering if people could help me out with a ball park figure of how much a new starter motor fitted will set me back?

A new starter motor would be around £150 with your old one as an exchange and probably another 50 for fitting. You could do it yourself, only two bolts.  Give German, swedish and french (GSF) a ring or if you're on a tight budget go to GWbridges in crawley, they are a breakers and have loads of veedub parts. Google them if you don't know who they are.
