Title: Yes another newbie! who needs help!
Post by: jacko191188 on 02 April 2008, 00:17
Hi everyone, just joined and im escaping from the french world! one word unreliable!

Anyway my car is being picked up thursday and i need a mk4 golf gti 1.8 t asap, but im picky, i want one with the anniversary kit on, and im looking up to £5500 max!

Hi everyone, Ive spotted one on autotrader but i just want some advice really, what to look out for, what to buy? etc.

the car ive seen looks nice, but im a little confused on what sps3 means? and i dont like the sound of the induction kit or dump valve. if he has been having these on there for a long time, do you think it could of played up the engine?

my intentions would be to get a standard box on there with k and n panel filter and smooth the box etc. and possibly a forge 007? ive heard these are ok, or am i wrong? seriously i know nothing about turbo cars, so any advice would be very very helpfull i dont want to make a mistake!

id lower it on coilovers (what make i dont know?) help?
and put some audi rs4 newer style split type wheels on it.

please could you give your comments, would be very helpful

Cant wait to get involved in the club, thanks, jack
