Guys, not strictly a VW question, but a guy at work has a new (2007) Skoda Fabia (the one with the advert where its baked like a cake).
He is going to work in Germany, and wants to change the multi-function display to use km in place of miles. (ie: MPG -> KMPM, total distance in KM etc etc).
I told him that this should be possible via VAG COM or similar. Maybe even via a sequence of button presses in the car.
Anyone got any ideas?

fit smaller wheels?
I guess it's possible... But I'd leave it alone because it could make the service history confusing and put buyers off, as the mileage would jump suddenly, and would then go backwards if he came back here again...
I'd either live with it, or sell the car and buy a euro-ified one

Yeah, might get him to stick some wheels off a pram on it, if that would help
Anyone got any other advice? I am guessing someone with a mk5 golf or similar should be able to help as the ecu must be similar.
Edit: Just tried the smaller wheels things, but tracking seems a bit out and allignment is a nightmare. Have attached a photo to help, any clues or advice......
