Hey all.
Just a quick question if I may.
Got tugged the other day (by the fuzz lol)
And was told my plates on my car are Illegal.
They only slapped my wrist and told me to change them before driving the car again.
Just wanted you opinion.
Diddnt think they were as I havnt altered the spacing or anything.
heres the plates. cheers all
P.S the bit underneith says performance Dub.

Border and GTI badge are both illegal. Plate should just be UK font with no border and Postcode of issueing company and BS mark. Only badge allowed is a Euro flag one with GB in.

Font is OK...its the old Brit standard, much better than the new Brit standard (and that's an ex art teacher talking, so I know about these things!)

Nah their not pressed mate just look like it on the pic
from what i've heard about pressed plates its because their not reflective so speed cams find it hard to capture.
(might be wrong though)

Yeah thats what i was thinking.
but she did say that if i diddnt get them changed another copper might not be so lenient.
I dont see the problem with things on the side of the plates as they dont stop the plate doing what they do if that makes sense.

Not really power-mad - there have been lots of posts about the police cracking down on non-conforming number plates. I think Dan23's just been lucky so far.
