Title: Rare?
Post by: cняis on 31 March 2008, 11:55: I picked up a fuse box cover from our local scrappy months ago, its velour/felt covered and black.

looks like its the real deal i.e. factory done as its not an aftermarket or DIY covering.

anyone seen these before? :huh:

yes in the car. it is gen VW. has all the normal fuse numbers etc on the back, exactly the same as the all plastic one.

its is solid plastic but the front/sides have this velour/felt type covering. its not very thick at all - there is no raised edge to the covering - so it seems like it was bonded onto the plastic at the factory rather than stuck on by a 3rd party.

i have it in both my cars, can give you pictures if ya want;)
