Guys,
My 16v really needs a proper look-at by a somebody who really knows in and around 16v engine.
Does anybody have suggestions as where I could take it to get it checked ?
I live in Ealing - West London, so somewhere near there would be preferable.
Thanks a lot in advance !

I live in Greenford... Wots wrong with it?

I don't know the technical word for it, but it's a kind of stalling when it runs on lower revs. You know, like 'coughing'.
FYI, I changed the Fuel Injector last month, with a second-hand one, because it didn't even start. And it fixed the engine for a while, until last week.
Any idea ?

Dude get the ignition/timing checked at the local garage?
or just go there and ask him for a diagnosis and costs to repair etc, that way you could even find out the problem for free

Well, this is why I'm asking if any of you know any 'local' garage that understand the machine. Not just some local garage, because I'm done with them. I want somebody to tell me 'with confident' what's exactly wrong with it.
Thanks for the advice though. I might do what you suggested if there is nobody comes up with other solution.

Just down the M4 in Reading is 'Automotive Solutions' the gaffer Tony knows a thing or two about VW's. He was the first person in the UK to plonk the VR in a Mk2 in 92', and he tuned my 16v, which hasn't missed a beat in 2 years.

Who put the injectors in and I'm guessing the injectors are in the wrong order!

that would be very hard to do as the braided lines are all the perfect length for each injector

Unfortunately Tony hasn't got a rolling road, but I can't see why he couldn't do the WUR mod. You don't need a RR to do it, it's just to prove the gain.
He does do alot of engine building and is quite a big fry in the buisness, so he's bound to know someone with one.
