Great Vid. Like you say Hurdy, good twist at the end. Mind you the R32 does look very nice there.

I watched this the other day. Some one posted it on vortex. Dont think i was too happy when i watched it lol. Wasnt too sure about the GTI that came out later on either...Must say the TR R32 does look nice  Compared to the pics iv seen n stuff i must add it looks much nicer in the flesh!

I would say that about all R32's. When the images were first released I thought it wasnt all that. But once you see one of these puppies in the flesh.... then fire her up... WoW!! move overrrrr

Technical instruction video detailing the engineering precision that fully explains why the R32 is superior.

Just because it's a Mazda, doesn't mean it can't be a good Hot Hatch mate.. Does wind me up when people can't think of a better way of slagging off a hot hatch than to say.. "Still a Mazda, Ford, Honda, Vauxhall....
Who gives a sh!t what make it is (bit snobby if you ask me). End of the day it's what they turn it in to and how capable it is as a Hot Hatch that counts.. The R26 is still a Renualt, but it'll pretty much blitz every other hot hatch out there round a track and on the road. It certainly didn't get the backing of just about every motor journalist that tested it on the fact it's a RENUALT..
Would you say the new R35 GTR was still just a NISSAN/DATSUN? If so, just every Super car it's been put up against (Porsche GT3, Turbo etc) and beat must be sh!te too...

Beaten by a muuuuuzzdaaaa lol, american for Mazda , and loved the twist at the end too, get the GTi, much better!.R36 would be a better proposion, R32 should be more powerfull for the historical badge that it wears.
It should be the ultimate golf, but it isnt. Hopefully the mk 6 R32 will be re branded and more power to it to compete with the likes of the new Focus RS.
i think the R should be alot better. poor show in this test tbh.
The best part was the sound of it especially with the burble of the dsg change.
