Title: Rallye Front End

Hi Folks,

I have just purchased a mk2 gti with an original Rallye front end fitted. I have recently learned that these are now sold out everywhere. . . unless i have been miss-informed. So how much are they worth?

£400 is that for just the front panel or the lights and grille as well? sorry for being a dufus

That's about what it all goes for usually if you sell it as all - light glass, light units, grille and slam panel.

Thank you for the speedy reply. to be honest I wouldnt consider selling it but its nice to know. I'm in Peterborough where is my nearest meet?

Check the shows and events section, there is something that goes on in Cambridge or for a proper show there is Spring Festival at Santa Pod in a few weeks :)

I once made some enquiries in order to purchase a Rallye front end and rang VW to see how much the headlights cost.....£100 each!

Rallye front ends look great but you could sell all that and replace it with a normal grille etc and have plenty of money left over for other things!!

GPC still have a few sets

I got angry and smashed one of my headlamps with a hammer once

£88 for each headlight. :wink:
