DONE ALL THAT, DRAIN HOLES OK, SEALS OK JUST SEEMS FUNNY ITS ONLY IN THE BACK PASS SEAT, :cry:

btw...when you park the car, is it on a flat surface or on a hill of some sort?
Have you actually poured some water over the whole car and then checked to see if any water is actually in it once you have finished?

what kind of GTI are we talking about here? Cab or tin top?
forget the question just seen 2 door GTI.
you might want to check the outside roof, to make sure there is no holes near the rain drains. Also do you have a stereo ariel on the roof, sometimes this leaks water.

CHEERS DUDE, SUN FOOF IS OK I THINK, I DO HAVE A RADIO AERIAL SO I WILL CHECK THAT OUT IN THE MORN. WHERE ARE THE DRAIN HOLES. I HAVE LOOKED AT THE ONES IN THE DOORS AND THE TWO UNDER BONNET. THANKS IN ADVANCE MARC

Check your tail lights aren't letting water in as they have a rubber seal around them where they meet the body and it may have perished letting water run through the boot and into the rear footwell......
