Title: Headlight washer

Have got headlight washers on my new mk 2, stupid question here, how do you operate looked all over and it is doing my nut in!!!
Also is it common on mk 2's as have not seen many?

Normally operate with the windscreen washers. Not sure it will be advanced enough to only work when the headlights are on!

Quality mod conkers! they were an optional extra when it was new according to the bloke that bought it new!!!

that they are.. the jets differ for big or small bumpers, and the bottles about 7 or 8 Litre  :shocked:

Yes its got a 8 ltr bottle. So they are not right common then??

A good mod was to take them off an old PUG 406 and recess them on your bumpers to piss out. They look good becuase they are hidden until you use them! :smug:

make sure the motor is working and that none of the pipes are blocked!!!

They work when you pull the wipers to wash the windscreen, but only when the Headlamps are on... There is a relay that controls them, so check that if they still dont work

Cheers jmallows, tried it with the headlights on and they work fine!!  Something as simple as turning the headlights on, glad i asked on here otherwise would have had it in the garage!!!
