*IF* you were going to buy a new Golf, like if someone were buying it for you, which gearbox would you pick? :)

I plumped for DSG on my MK5 GTI.

Had it on my 3.2 Audi A3 and the now ex's 3.2 Audi as well and loved it.

You'll get a load of negative comments regarding the DSG from the manual Mk5 drivers but most of them have never lived with the DSG for any real period of time.

My last 3 cars were all DSG. All the ones before were manual. Nuff said :wink: :cool:
