Why not just get the rear parking system installed??

I don't think its a particularly expensive retro-fit and will be even cheaper if the bumper works already been done.

Most kits are cheap enough,

The link is to the install I did, with the bumper off and the holes drilled already it should be easy.

....Hey Joe (sounds of Mr Jimi Hendrix now entering my head!!)....Are your rear parking sensors in your 'spoiler'? Mine are in my 'bumper' where I think they are usually located at the VW factory (mine are aftermarket) :-

yea robin, there in the same place as yous are. are those plastic circle bits available at dealerships?? either i buy those and make it look like i have them and black on black wont stand out so much, or i get them filled.

i dont think im going to retro fit them as i have never reversed into anything and i dont have a garage to park in so dont really need them :undecided:

Can't you just swap over the lower section of the bumper/spoiler and avoid all this?

Well I dunno if its a straight fit or not, so I'm asking if it's possible more than anything. Can't see why it wouldn't go straight on though. I think that's what Robin was getting at.

Joe, do you just want the cat-back for the car or the full system?

Cat-back is about £400. See link below

Joe,

i can't see why not, on my Mk4, that is exactly what i did.

The Cat back came with a stepped convertor, fitted great too, for all of 2 weeks, until I got the offer of a Milltek cat and downpipe.

....Yes, I swopped my front end Milltek Cat-back for a Hi-flow+Downpipe aka Turbo-back after less than 1,000 miles.
