Hi all . Itdim new to the golf world , we now have a new golf TDI as our lease car, all we can say is ..wow..... What a car.
We used to have a Lexus ls 430, but it had to go due to fuel prices.
Looking forward.

I take it you cant remape your lease cars lol ?
-
Oh yes, easy . remap....enjoy....then re dump dataset when car goes back.... no one knows..
-
lol until you have a crash and then the lease company find out that its remapped and then your STUFFFED ! lol

That happend to me in 1999 i crashed my fiesta turbo in to a transit van , first thing i did was remove the plug in super chip , which was easy to get at
as the ecu is in the passenger footwell. Do you think the remap couls be detected? We do the mileage corrections on vw for years and its only
come to our attention the the mileage is also stored in the ECU. :embarassed: We do the ecu as well now via obd plug. But we have never
any come backs.
I bet some smart arse insurance inspector would have a good poke about.
