Title: Oak Green (blues)

hi guys i am new here and have just bought a MK2 golf 16v GTi, bit of a silly question my car is in oak green i have been told this is a rare model but dont know if this a wind up or not, i am preety new and dont know much about golfs so any help would be much appreciated, also the car has come with five spoke wheels and not the standard BBS rims does anybody know where i can get hold of a set of standard rims which i have about ?150.00 to spend on

Hi fella read the thread few under yours about oak green  golfs in buying a 16v (89-90) should answer your question I just bought a set of the standrard RA BBS alloys off www.preformancevwmag.com for ?115 the other week ,and they are in very good condition they quite often pop up on E-bay but peeps pay over the odds for them sometimes best to keep your eye out

what are the wheels like on it? if they are the campaign ones then they could be worth something! is it a small bumper model?

no it is the big bumper model . the wheels look like aftermarket ones

they sound like five spoke estorils. if they are, you'd be mad to swap them with bbs rims.
