U lot with mk3 GTI's

Do u have a headlight adjustment control from inside the car?

People on ClubGTi say they have 1996 GTI's and they dont have the headlight adjuster... and say its not part of the GTI spec????

WTF? i have it!! mines a 1997

Dunno if they have 8v or 16v .. they just state GTI.

Another person said "their for VR6's only"

Not on my 16v, just the dial illumination dimmer doo daa. :(

looking through the gallery "i-iespedair" has an 8v with it... and its a '97 too..

I doubt it's a factory option, who'd think to specify that, except caravan towers and people with fat children.

Probably added to the last load of mk3s.

seems likely it was '97 thing then.. :)

i purposefully went for a late mk3 figuring that all things like design probs / recalls etc would be sorted on it

Well I've got a '97 VR6 Highline and it doesn't have internal h/light adjustment (unless I've missed it!).  Not that it would work with my new MF4 look lights anyhoo  8)

If u have the quad Hella smoked like me, u just transfer the motor accross  8)
