Mainly revs high when cold, but will also do it if turned off for a second and turned back on. So would still be hot. Hunts idles every now and again, and also will work fine every so often. Really is doing my head in....I've just done service with filter dizzy rotor plugs....I've checked for leaks and also cleaned out the ISV and all components..I'm off for a new bung for the flying saucer although mine don't look to bad. Also changed blue temp sender. Not sure where else to go.

yep shoudl be plugged, on the front the one closest to the rubber boot is the one that should be plugged, i.e. driver side on a RHD MK2.  Check your idle switch!
