Title: Conti SportContact2 - directional??
Post by: duzza on 20 March 2008, 18:53
Hi

Does anyone know (or can anyone running these tyres tell me) if the SportContact2 tyres are directional or not? Ive got them on 4 new wheels but theres no directional arrow I can see on the tyre wall!!

conti 2's are marked , you should see the "INNER" written on one side

dude, just put the inner on the inside and all is ok, do you want directional tyres or something ?

As I said, I know not if they are directional, I still dont - therefore I cant fit them. Just saying put the side marked 'inner' on the inside is of zero use as its impossible to fit them any other way.

Conti 2's are Assymetrical tread pattern, and need to be fitted according to 'inner' and 'outer' like what people have said. They are not directional.
