Proberly the wrong time of year to be looking for a trailer mate, i bought an early Brian James trailer in October last year for 700 pounds.
-
700 quid? thats not too bad I suppose. whys it the wrong time? because its the start of the motorsport season?
-
Yes, as when i started looking at the start of last year the prices were silly, i even gave up on the idea of trailering my golf to and from the track. Still kept me eye out and at the end of last season i found my one. Twin axle/braked and its about 12 yrs old.

Apparently they are not legal on the motorway. If you are towing anything over 750kg it needs to have working brakes linked to the towing vehicles. (hitch activated etc)
You can use them to recover a car to a safe location but no further.
Also if a motor vehicle being towed has any wheels touching the ground it needs to be taxed, mot'd and insured, unless you are towing it to a pre booked mot.
Cheers
