Is it me or are the brakes crap, had my 30 for two weeks anyone got some advice that would improve them like changing the pads?
apart from that the cars perfect.

....Another vote for AP Racing's Big Brake Kit !!

But changing to a different pad plus braided stainless steel lines plus fluid might help, but it all needs to be appropriate for your particular discs....Take care.

Very, Very nice brakes on your Ed30, 182_blue

I did some minor development work with AP, and I'm advised that you don't really need 6-pots on the Mk5 Golfs and you only need the AP's on the front, all due to weight of the car relative to the brake's power. 4-pot will suffice  (and save you money)

I think you need to stop spending money on your car PinkRobin and buy a new camera that shows your car as red not Pink!

that can be true actually, as to many pots will require more pressure

They are up to it, but there always better ones around, you can source the cheaper option of the R32 set up (345mm) for around £650 thats the fronts only.If its good enough to stop the Audi S3 that will do for me.
Or just upgrade to aftermarket discs and pads.

Andrew, you're not dreaming, the standard brakes are 'adequate' at best and otherwise below average.

You're either looking at big money outlay or bad brakes.
