Now i havnt wired it correctly as it only works when my lights are on as i couldnt be botherd going to buy a fuse. its only a 5 min job once i have a fuse and ill connect it to the fuse box and lights so it only lights up when my lights are on. i think it looks very very smart
-
looks mint pal, how about a complete fitting guide?
-
well its quite straight forward once you start. the hardest bit is running it from the engine to the inside of the car,
i ran my lead down the side of the enigine and then through inside of the door (near where the plugs are for your elec windows)
it is very easy to do, especially if you have a forge dv as it has an extension on it. i wired all my wires together and put them on my light switch (grey lead behind light switch) it was going dark so i just did this as a tempory connection,
-
so come on then, what boost are you peaking at with your remap?
-
im not sure, i think its about 1.2bar!! its about 17psi on full throttle. is this about right??
-
its actually 1.172 bar. is this good or not??
-
Sounds about right. You can get a bit more out of them but you'd really need a full exhaust before even thinking about tweaking it up.
-
so what would it be at standard?
-
something gay like 9psi, but it holds it to redline so you get the 'smooth power delivery' that they rave about. I prefer my torque curves (on F.I motors) to look like a big tit rather than a ski slope though!

Looking good joe  You need some petrol :P

i just put a tenner in
-
That tenner will might last till about 3pm Joe, anyway gauge looks good.
-
A tenna lasts me a day or two lol...full tank about a week! But obviously we dont have roads like you guys do in the UK
-
Where did you get the kit from?
Might do this when the weathers a bit better
-
I was nearly tempted by one sat in the display cabinet at the TT shop (OSIR) like Joes.
Looks uber cool with the blue lights Joe . They also do an OSIR OPOD which fits above the ashtray, but doesn't look quite as OEM.
-
yea i was lookin at that one and looks very  but its alot harder to read whilst driving. also i dont really need another gauge so 1 pod is ample for what i want
-
does that gauge tell you the air speed reading from the heater vent!!.
-
glad it all went OK joe , looks  but Im biased
-
Thats the business Joe, i really really want one of them but then the wife would know i have modded the car, when i said nah its totally honest so iwould be divorced very soon, hmm is that a bad idea
