Title: auto lights

Hi all,

How sensitive are your automatic lights? and how long do they stay on for say after emerging from a tunnel?  Are we able to adjust this time and sensitivity from the computer or is it a dealer matter (if at all)?

Several other forum members have had issues, ie not sensitive enough or too sensitive. Im not sure is changeable but one of the VAG.COM users may stop by who know more than I. I think someone had a sun sensor replaced to correct the issue if memory serves.

Oh well, 25k service booked for Tuesday next....have informed the garage to give it a test, with the passenger mirror issue and the cruise control. Will update the post with the outcome, just in case it helps others.

My lights change instantly when entering/emerging from a tunnel. The lights also come on automatically when doing over 80 (private road of course :wink:) and only go off when you have slowed to about 40 for a few mins - exact details/speeds are in the user manual.
