hello all , im just getting into tuning my car and starting with the bits and bobs, ive got the exhaust /filter and an ecotek valve etc
i have now got hold of --
1) power boost valve
2) genuine suprchip
all the above are for mk 3 2.0 8 valve...
i have the instuctions for the boost valve but havent got a clue what they mean , nor how to fit it , should there be any other bits with the valve , as ive just got the valve, do i need any clips..t pieces etc etc
who knows how to fit these , i like them as i had one on my mk 2 8v and it gave it 13bhp !!?!
plus the superchip , ive just won on ebay (bloody good deal) , this is a proper one , but do i have to have a pro install it or can i just plug it in to my ecu and drive away ??
if you can help with any of the above whatsoever please stick your comments down or mail me , im up in manchester so if ya wana suggest any companies please do
cheers all

yeah i had it on my mk 2 8valve , it went like stink ...you have to have them rolling roaded though properly , plus the usual exhaust and filter etc
try it , you might like it !!! :o

got the filter and exhaust....
dunno if anywhere up here would fit it tho ... theres no "performance centres" up here. ... i heard they gotta be setup "properly"
... I looked at those Ecotek power valves and filter awhile back ... for better mpg... dunno if they actually work tho.

Heres sum info and a few quotes...
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
Upto 10Bhp gain
What: Adjustable Fuel Pump.
Why: More fuel can be supplied with a regulator, which is ideal for big power engines that demand extra gas.
Professional Quotes:
Jamsport: Adjustable fuel pressure regulators can be temperamental. Unless set at the standard fuel setting they can run rich or lean causing problems
Courtenay Sport: Of some benefit at initial burst of the throttle, but after that the Lambda sensor kicks in and cencels out most of the gain. It's imperative that a regulator is setup correctly.
Avanti Motorsport: The main benefit with an FSE Power Boost Valve is it allows the fuelling to be increased to suit turbo'd cars running high boost.
Expect To Pay: ?82-?136
If you want it setup... goto a performance centre ...

i have tried ringing well lane 4 times , and they never ring me back or keep saying the guy i want to speak to is busy???...bloody good eh ..to busy for more custom!!...so im a bit angry cos wana get this done asap

I dont think u need any other bits for the FSE powerboost valve but I think u might need ya ECU remapped or summet cos its supplying extra fuel...
