whats the  big arrow for on the insturment panel?? and the  white square with the holes i it

huh? i think the arrow is an econometer and i have no idea what the other thing is

in the centre of the instrument cluster, there is on the top  an arrow in a box,  it loks like it lights up what is that for?

The arrow is an upshift & econometer.  The bulb should light up to tell you to change to the next gear and the econometer will only work when you are in 5th gear.

I dunno what this 'white square with holes in' is tho?

Possibly a replacement set of clocks that hasn't been wired in properly?
