Title: Idle trouble for 7 years!

I put a recent post up about my Digi and her bad idle, kind of goes from 800-1700, a bit of a pain. Anyway, i was looking through a folder of reciepts i got with the car last night. Ive got loads from 2001, most saying 'check out idle problem'. In the past 7 years i have reciepts for 5 blue sensors, 3 sets of ht leads, 4 sets of plugs, 4 new dizzy caps etc etc and still she idles badly. 7 yrs of bad idle must be a record for a Digi!?

What specialists have you taken it to?

Has the ISV been changed out?

Have the vacuum hoses been replaced?

Has the throttle plate been cleaned?

Lot of basic things that can be done rather than people just taking the lazy route and swapping out basic service parts.
