As title, which unit comes in a 2008 car, and how easy is it to install one in the GTi ?, oh and where would you buy

The RNS510 is the satnav fitted as the option.
I have it, fantastic sat nav, probably the best OEM solution I've used!

They sell on ebay for about a grand.
30gb HDD (for maps and MP3), DVD playback, TMC, Dual FM tuner, capability for Full bluetooth phone support, etc

cheers mate, how much was the factory option ?

Factory option is £1800.
But comes with Highline computer (£50 on own), Arm rest (£120 on own), 6Disc Changer (no idea), Aux in socket (for iPod etc).
It also comes with the sharkfin aerial on the roof, whereas the after fit needs a GPS puck under the dash.

I got mine from ebay, £1000, retro fitted myself, as Coco says, check out vwnavi.com
