Title: Waxed my car and took some pics.
Post by: Fatandre on 16 March 2008, 03:17: Hi there you guys. Detailed my ride and took some pics today. Here is the outcome. Black crew all the way!! :cool:

Post by: PhilMart on 16 March 2008, 05:25: Got to say I am chuffed to be looking at all your GTIs, but I got to also say that everyone also seems to try and add some of the scenery from their own area in .. makes it far more interesting

17 hours until my tornado red GTI arrives .. will get some pics up if this heatwave ever abates (over 35 degrees celcius for more than 12 consecutive days - one night it only got down to 30!

Great shots .. nice clean car!

Are they official R32 rear light clusters? Anyone got pics of these on steel grey? Steel Grey Crew all the way :wink:

Thx mate. The lights are the original from the GTI. I just got them smoked. You can drop he car anytime you want :smiley: :cool: :laugh: It was so much worth it. The detailing process was this:

Sprayed with tar remover and then taken care of with a carcher.
Washed with a Megs NXT soap.
Left in the garage for the night to dry.
Next morning just put some NXT hard wax on it.
Some turtle wax nano thing on the wheels

Thats all. Didnt have time to do it like I wanted cuz my work called and I had to go.

Next thing I will do is a black emblem on the front. Will do it this week.

I know. My mom was doing 130 km/h and hit a curb. Two wheels where broken and thx to the stiff suspension she didnt fly on the roof. I am waiting for the centercap to be ordered my the bodyshop through the insurance. I am not going to pay for something i dont have to :grin:
