Title: help with sunstrip

i will be putting a sunstrip on my mk2 golf but need to know how far down the windscreen to go as it says not to put over wiper swept area, its 200mmx1300mm

Put the wipers on, and then switch the ignition off when the drivers wiper is vertical. This will tell you how far down the screen you can go.

iirc the sunstrip must not foul the wipers but 1cm on the drivers side and 4cm on the passengers side

if you followed this you'd have a wonky sunstrip! as long as it doesnt foul by more than 1cm you're fine.
