Dunno about anyone else here, but I've got a bit of a carbon fibre fetish. Problem is I can never find any nice bits to fit a Mk2 Golf :S. I always find loads of bits for Mk1 Golfs like carbon scuttle panels and front splitters.
Can anyone refer me to somewhere that I can get some nice carbon bits for a Mk2?
Thanks

Think I saw on seatcupra.net or clubgti.com forums for group buys on carbon fibre, and I saw the price of a MK2 bonnet for something like £500. Saw one go on ebay quite cheap recently. And there's also someone that makes carbon stuff on one of the above forums.
I know its a little vague but can't remeber off the top of my head atm.

Mike will do a mk2 carbon bonnet for £395, door cards are £85, tailgates are coming, front wings etc

Ok, I got in touch with Mike at Performance Trim (a very proffesional and friendly company I might add) and he says that he would be able to do CF front splitters for big bumpers for about £165, which I thought was very reasonable
Only thing is that he has to make a mould in order to do this, and this process is quite expensive. He says that he would need to secure an order of at least 5 splitters at this price to make it worth his while making the mould.
He suggested trying to get a group buy on the go, so here goes, would anyone like to avail of a very sexy, extremely limited edition, single piece, carbon fibre, gloss finish, big bumper Golf Gti splitter?

Not for that price. I mean £165 every couple of days as I keep catching mine on speed bumps!
If he could do some other stuff I'd be interested, like the tailgate spoiler and some small interior stuff.
I think you'll struggle to get people to worry about the front splitter as most people scrape them often.
