well i need to refinish the silver ones ( or some of the other 2 sets ) then see.
Could just swap them over weekly
anyone else ?

Not sure. Black look better with the car, as it goes with the bumper tops, skirts and arches etc, but I think the centre caps suit the wheels :undecided:
-

Silver, they're a bit rarer than the black. I think they're also classier.

Black has been done to death, and I've always found that if you can see the wheel nuts, they look cheap.
Chuff, Jon in MTMS is getting a set done in 8x15 and I'm going to 'tell' him to go for the flat caps.
He's the one with the GTD which is parked up somewhere as he's in a particular sh1t-hole for a few more weeks.
Also if you need anything off of that Mk2 Jetta in the main carpark, let me know, and I'll ask him for you, he's a top bloke, so there is bound to be something for sale off of it.

cheers mate - he not getting it back on the road then ??????

Blacks for me definately

i think age pays a large part in taste for this. me being a nipper would have to black, but can see where lewy is coming from with the classy look. switch them around when you get bored :)
-
yeah - i got 3 sets to play with now
the silver flush ones with VW badge
flsuh plain silver
and the black ones.
-
Get one more and you can have a different one on each wheel!
Then everyone's happy
Genius
-

just leave the 4th one with no cap - Job done
-
blatently black ones chuff!
silver = classy???? WTF???? a golf insnt a fine wine or a country house
the silver centre caps make the wheels look weak...so they dont stand out. id stick with the black centre caps or the BBS
