....They've been available for some time and I investigated and discovered a pair would cost an arm and a leg because the GTI's seat runners have to be changed  We're talking well over £3-grand!
-
way more than 3,000!!! they are 1,764.15pounds each!!! il let you do the maths!!! they still made me do a sex wee :embarassed:
-
Luckily if you order a new GTI the Recaro option is now reduced to £925 and they look pretty similar to me!!!
As soon as I can get figures sorted I will be ordering mine with!!!

I'm over 30 so it won't cost the earth to insure. probably keep this one another year and see what prices they are going for. Hopefully a new one will be out by then so the price will drop a bit quicker.

....Well, I am "a bit older" (actually a lot older....61yo very soon) and I still prefer the GTI. The RS4 is an awesome car but extremely thirsty if you drive it properly and too big.

Yeah but revving the nuts off that V8

soz komendra........just copied of your bunnies

If you are looking for fun (or as zi Germanz say Fahrspass), you are better off with an M3. RS4 cannot compete with it in terms of driving, I'm sorry. M3 is coming out with DSG now, as well.
However, M3 or RS4, both of these cars consume lots of more and more expensive premium petrol, and ask shamelessly for second helping.
For me, Audi TTS looks like a good compromise between economy and fun. (Economy in terms of gas consumption, not in terms of purchase price. Also, TTS is a pure 2seater, but we are talking driving for fun here. For everyday transportation, I don't see how RS4 would be logical, better to get some used TDI for everyday driving.)

RS4 used to be my dream car,
that is until i saw the new M3 saloon!

so now i've switched Allegiance.
apparently Audi is considered chavvy now anyway.

A friend of mine bought an M3 down from Germany yesterday in white with a red leather interior...a very very very nice car and sort of made me change my mind abit more towards the RS4...really really liking the carbon fibre room on the new M3 and that bonnet buldge....
Aswell i think RWD would be abit more fun the AWD....each to their own i guess
